Important Rules and Requirements

As we approach the start of the 2015 season (!), the AMRA wants to remind everyone of some important new rules:

  1. Sliders are now mandatory on all bikes for the racetrack, including bar ends and footpegs (as per racetrack policy)
  2. No helmet cameras. For safety reasons, helmet cameras are no longer permitted (as per CMA regulations). Bike-mounted cameras are still permitted at this time.
  3. Sound limit: 87 dB (per racetrack policy). We will be strictly monitoring noise levels at the track to comply with standing policy. If you are unsure about the output of your bike, then our first Test ‘n’ Tune night is an excellent time to come out and get it tested!
  4. The access road to the track (that is, the road you drive in to the facility) is limited to 35km/hr, no exceptions. Again, we will be strictly monitoring this as a club.

If you have any questions, please comment below, or email us!

Yes, you need to cover any area of the bike that would potentially cause damage to the asphalt.
The speed on the access road is 30km/h.

Can you tell me if i need axle, bar ends, and footpegs sliders. Are people fabricating them or are the available. What constitutes a slider?
